1. About these terms
ActualOS is a software-as-a-service product operated by Constantin Cristian Armeanu, Sole Trader, Oakland Ave, Haslington, Crewe CW1 5PB, United Kingdom (“ActualOS”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@cristianarmeanu.com.
By creating an account or purchasing Premium or Ultra, you agree to these terms. If you use ActualOS as a consumer, these terms do not exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 and capable of entering a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
3. The service
ActualOS provides productivity tools including projects, tasks, scheduling, time tracking, daily rituals, analytics, Reality Check, wellbeing records and reviews. Features can evolve over time. We will not materially remove a paid core feature during a current billing period without a valid reason and reasonable notice where practicable.
ActualOS supports personal organisation and reflection. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice and is not an emergency service.
3A. Bulma assistant and AI-generated output
Bulma is an optional AI-assisted feature included with Ultra. It can use relevant information from your ActualOS account and content you deliberately provide—including prompts, briefs, documents and images—to answer questions, explain patterns and propose plans. Proposed calendar or task changes are presented for review and require your confirmation before they are saved.
AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must review important dates, requirements and decisions before relying on it. Bulma is not a substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, academic or other professional advice, and you must not use it for emergencies or as the sole basis for high-impact decisions.
You must not submit content you do not have the right to use, highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request, malicious instructions, or content that violates law or third-party rights. Availability, models, limits and supported file types may change as the feature develops.
4. Free, Trial, Premium and Ultra
- Free: access to the core features shown in the application, without a subscription fee.
- 14-day Trial: a one-time internal ActualOS trial of Premium features. No payment method is required and it does not automatically become a paid subscription.
- Premium: access to the Premium feature set while a qualifying Stripe subscription remains active.
- Ultra: all Premium features plus Bulma, subject to the usage allowance displayed before purchase. The current allowance is 100 Bulma actions per monthly usage period.
Current prices are £5.99 per month or £49.99 per year, unless a different price is clearly displayed before purchase. These advertised prices include applicable indirect taxes where Managed Payments applies, unless Checkout clearly states otherwise. Checkout displays the final amount and any included tax before you confirm payment.
Ultra is currently £14.99 per month or the annual price displayed at Checkout. The 14-day Trial includes Premium only and does not include Bulma.
5. Billing and automatic renewal
Premium and Ultra are recurring subscriptions processed through Stripe Checkout. For new Managed Payments purchases, Link acts as merchant of record and is the seller of record for the transaction. Stripe and Link handle payment processing, receipts and invoices, applicable indirect-tax calculation and remittance, fraud prevention and transaction-level support. ActualOS remains responsible for providing the application and product support. By confirming Checkout, you also agree to the payment terms presented there and authorise the payment provider to charge the selected price at the start of each billing period until cancellation. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly and annual subscriptions renew annually.
Managed Payments charges may appear on your statement as LINK.COM* followed by a descriptor identifying ActualOS. The precise wording can vary by bank and payment method.
If we change the price for a future renewal, we will provide reasonable advance notice where required. A price change does not alter an already-paid billing period.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Customers may cancel their ActualOS Premium or Ultra subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future automatic renewals, and paid access will remain available until the end of the current paid billing period.
Payments already made are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law or where a refund is approved on a case-by-case basis. Nothing in this policy affects the customer’s statutory rights.
You can manage eligible subscriptions through Settings or through the Stripe or Link interface shown for your purchase. Link provides transaction and subscription support for Managed Payments purchases and may handle eligible refund requests under the terms shown at Checkout. For access to ActualOS or other product help, contact contact@cristianarmeanu.com with the account email and relevant payment date.
7. Consumer cancellation rights
If UK or EEA consumer cancellation or cooling-off rights apply to your purchase, we will honour them as required by applicable law. Your request for immediate access to Premium does not remove any statutory right unless the legal requirements for doing so have been satisfied. Any permitted deduction for service already supplied will only be made where applicable law allows it and the required information and consent have been provided.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse ActualOS, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt infrastructure, evade access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape the service excessively, reverse engineer it except where the law permits, use it unlawfully, or infringe another person’s rights. You remain responsible for content you enter and must have the right to use it.
9. Your content and our intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up and display it only as needed to operate and support the service.
ActualOS, its interface, branding, software and original materials remain owned by the operator or licensors. These terms grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal or internal business purposes.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or suspected misuse.
11. Ending an account
You may stop using ActualOS at any time and can delete application modules or permanently delete your account from Settings. Account deletion cancels an associated active subscription before removing the account. We may restrict or terminate an account for material or repeated breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment, normally with notice where reasonable. Ending an account does not remove accrued legal rights or payment obligations.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement began, losses caused by events outside reasonable control, or business losses suffered by a consumer. If you use ActualOS for business purposes, our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law of the part of the UK or EEA country in which they live.
Questions and complaints can be sent to contact@cristianarmeanu.com, or by post to Oakland Ave, Haslington, Crewe CW1 5PB, United Kingdom. See also our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
